SOAR began in 2010 as a project of five moms wanting resources, services, and support for their child on the spectrum.  Because of the growing rate of autism, SOAR spread its wings and became a non-profit in August of 2012.  In March of 2015, SOAR opened its first autism center. We are happy to add SOAR Southshore to our growing family as of May 2020!
Our services are at little or no cost to families. We currently offer applied behavior analysis therapy (ABA), social skills, life skills, adolescent (ages 7-11 and 12-15)  and adult (16 and up) monthly social events, community events, educational advocacy, caregiver support group, resources, and autism related trainings.

Our Mission: To provide the individualized services, information, resources and support needed to positively enhance the independence, productivity and inclusion of individuals with autism to soar beyond limits.

"A child has gone further than they thought they could, because a parent knew they could."
